In this position, you will work closely with Technical Directors and Project Managers to prepare technical documents such as design basis documents, calculations, drawings, specifications, engineering reports and will interface with specialists in other disciplines such as geotechnical, coastal, drafting, engineer-divers, and to a lesser extent, mechanical and electrical engineers.

Your key responsibilities will be:



  • Perform tasks on projects to improve depth of knowledge in the field of structural and geotechnical engineering for marine, bridge and tunnel infrastructure design
  • Perform structural analysis and design; including but not limited to reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, steel, timber and/or geotechnical design for marine structures, deep foundations, earth retaining structures, etc.
  • Prepare and review calculations for analysis along with preparing engineering reports and memoranda
  • Prepare construction drawings and other documents, such as technical specifications
  • Assist with technical oversight activities during the construction phase

On top of that, you will have:



  • Hold or be working towards Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, and/or Geotechnical Engineering;
  • Hold or be planning to obtain Engineering in Training (E.I.T.) Certification;
  • Have the ability and willingness to travel and to perform required fieldwork; and
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent relationship building skills.

Base compensation: $45,000 to $60,000 for New Yorklocationonly. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
