Description

Lamar Advertising is now hiring a Salesforce Administrator. This includes system configuration (maintenance, system enhancements/upgrades, etc.), creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training and data integrations, and ensuring data hygiene and integrity. This role collaborates with functional leaders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a high-growth environment.

What we are looking for in YOU:



  • Demonstrated ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information from multiple sources in order to analyze and solve complex enterprise software problems
  • Demonstrated advanced communication, collaboration, and relationship building in order to work across multiple teams at all levels of the organization;
  • Experience effectively and sometimes persuasively communicating difficult technical concepts
  • Strong background in Salesforce administration
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture
  • Strong understanding and background in service-oriented architecture implementations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Managing configurations included within Salesforce
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL database and ORM concepts
  • Strong knowledge and implementation expertise in integration patterns


Education and experience:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the following required: Salesforce, C#, MS SQL Server, Object-oriented development, service-based architecture, and driven development
  • 7+ years of Salesforce admin experience preferred.
  • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator required


A day in the life:



  • Responsible for configuration, design, functionality, and end-user support of the Salesforce platform.
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce.
  • Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code within Salesforce.
  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and security).
  • Establish and implement change control and best practices with regard to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
  • Manage data imports, database de-duping, and cleanup.
  • Participate in Salesforce Governance activities.
  • Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive high levels of data integrity and operational. reliability of standardized analytics, tools, and processes.


Physical Demands and Work Environment



  • The primary work environment is an office.
  • The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
  • Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%
