Sr. DevOps Engineer - ML/AI

About The Job

This is a unique opportunity to grow as an engineer. Working closely with product development teams, operations teams, and leadership, you'll design and build tools and infrastructure. This will empower engineers to develop and deliver fast, high-quality software, benefiting millions of PlayStation users. We seek individuals who can intuitively anticipate and tackle diverse technical challenges in developing software at scale. We are open to adoption of the latest tools and techniques for solving the complex problems.

We are looking for someone with a software engineering background who has hands-on experience in ML/AI DevOps and develop toolings using ML.

a DevOps Engineer with experience in ML/AI . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the ML/AI domain and excel at infrastructure and pipelines.
we are NOT looking for ML engineer whose domain is model training and algorithm development.

Responsibilities



  • Conduct research on new technologies. Lead/contribute the effort of solving complex technical challenges to improve engineering productivity
  • Design and build infrastructure set up , tools, utils to accelerate build, testing, release, and deployment.
  • Drive/contribute to standard methodology of improving quality, performance and security compliance.
  • Enable enterprise level capabilities using infrastructure oriented tech stack.


Minimum qualifications



  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related area
  • 6+ years of software development experience in Java
  • Expert to good experience with container and container orchestration technologies such as docker, Kubernetes
  • Expert in AWS
  • Experience with networking, storage, logging, monitoring, tracing and alert
  • Good understanding of CICD standard methodologies and familiar with tools used in CICD pipeline: such as Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems

  • Experience with software system design
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Self driven and motivated in delivering high quality deliverables

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

In addition, this role

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$187,700 $281,500 USD
