        | Salary Range |  | $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly |  | Description Position Summary: The Forklift Truck Driver is responsible for operating battery powered lift equipment in a safe and efficient manner, along with handheld scanning devices to manage placement of inventory within a warehouse environment.  Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) 
 
     
 Operates a variety of battery powered lift equipment to receive, put away, replenish, and load inventory within a distribution warehouse.Assist with physical inventory to maintain accuracy of product in warehouse.Provide routine general maintenance on lift equipment: nightly charging of unit batteries, watering, checking for wear, and requesting service on inoperable equipment.Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures in daily operationsSupporting other departments as needed to facilitate overall company operationsDemonstrating accountability, including decision-making and process improvements
 
Qualifications Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education and Experience:  
 
     
 High school diploma or GED.Forklift License1-3 years Reach truck experience preferred1-3 years Counterbalance fork truck operator experience preferred3-5 years Warehouse Operations experience preferred
 
 
 Special Requirements: 
 
     
 Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.

 Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
 
     
 Close mental and visual attention to prepare and analyze data and figures, work on a computer, read, or control machines or processes at a rapid pace that requires close coordination and fine adjustment.
