Collections Representative Location: Onsite in Newark, DE Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Collections Representative to join our team in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and computer skills, with a preference for those with collections experience. * Make continuous efforts to contact clients and collect on debtor accounts in a high-volume call center environment (60+ calls a day). * Set up suitable payment arrangements once contact with the debtor has been made, and follow up on these arrangements. * Follow up on all accounts until they are paid, settled, cured from delinquency, or deemed uncollectible by management. * Perform all phases of skip tracing work. * Keep accurate records and documentation of activity on accounts worked through policies and procedures as set forth by the company. * Adhere to and abide by all regulations as set forth by the FDCPA. Requirements: * Strong customer service and computer skills are a must. * Collections experience is preferred. * Must work 2 night shifts per week. Schedule is determined based on which department. * Day shift is 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, night shift is 12 PM - 9 PM. Will work every other Saturday 8 AM - 12 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
