Hull Assembler We are looking for a Hull Assembler who will report directly to the Hull Assembly Supervisor. As part of your role, you'll be on a team where we are creating new ways to get people moving forward, where their experiences are measured by emotion rather than distance. Description: This position exists to support production of aluminum fishing boats by assembling various sized hulls built to high quality specifications. Hull Assembly:
Competencies: Assembly: The assembler must possess the skills and abilities necessary to assemble aluminum parts and deliver quality parts on time. The assembler should have an understanding of the manufacturing schedule and be able to prioritize jobs. K: Knowledge of reading prints/shop cards and schedules. S: Operation of hand tools, pneumatic drills and hammers, bucking bars, jigs, and fixtures. A: Ability to prioritize jobs and communicate necessary information to peers and supervisors. O: The operator should exhibit patience and practicality while working under pressure. Safety: The assembler must have the qualifications necessary to ensure safe operation of equipment at all times. K: basic understanding of general safety operating procedures of hand tools, lifting devices and other machines. S: read operating manuals, written programs, and written instructions. A: follow instructions and effectively execute procedures;inspect and don appropriate PPE. O: courage and willingness to stop and question unsafe work. Work environment: Kneeling, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, reaching with weight, squatting, climbing stairs, exposure to heat, exposure to noise. May spend time outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Requirements:
