Description

As a Senior Technical HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings. This role requires deep industry expertise, strong analytical skills, and collaboration with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Documentation review and comprehension of construction documents, such as drawings and specifications.
  • Participates in customer kick-off meetings for new projects.
  • Responsible for generating questions for clients and quotes needed from suppliers.
  • Executes quantity take-offs for estimating from narratives, paper drawings,
  • Performs the necessary math to quantify, price, express, calculate, compare, compile, adjust, etc.
  • Assigns unit pricing based on appropriately adjusted historical data and quotes.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Effectively communicates with and influences multiple stakeholders from different functions, across all levels of the organization.
  • Inputs and summarizes estimates using a standard format.
  • Delivers reports and follows-up with customers in a timely manner.
  • Collects and documents required to closeout items and participates in closeout efforts.
