Job Description

As an intern, you will be working on an agile team with other passionate, driven, and talented interns and staff to create solutions for our Early Careers Program. The Early Careers Program (ECP) was established in 2019 to significantly increase our Generation Z population - attracting them to work here, developing them, and helping them have a meaningful career at Publicis Sapient. The ECP team's work spans corporate strategy, event management, coordination, research, recruiting, University relationships, marketing, operations, learning and development, and financial analysis.

Our team seeks summer interns to help deliver on ECP projects. You will join a small team of interns, working together on a very diverse set of activities. The work will span operations, event management, research, project management, social media, analytics, and recruiting support. You must be able to work from late May 2025ato early August 2025aand come into our office on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
Operations (60% of your time)

Support the summer engineering/product internship program. Includes helping to onboard the engineering/product interns, helping with tech week. You will consistently be working with the Intern Program Lead for your city and internal stakeholders in our offices. This will mainly involve coordinating and executing events around the engineering/product internship program over the 10-week timeframe.

Included will be:

  • Assist the program lead with complicated logistics for meetings, and events, including securing location, room set-up, audio/visual needs, food, and beverage, etc.

  • Take on a variety of administrative projects and day-to-day tasks including emails, projects, and meetings.

  • Manage attendee lists for events and create, print, and prepare necessary items for events.

  • Assist in scheduling events with executive leadership and partnerships.

  • Prepare agendas and documents, collect materials, and complete research in preparation for Team meetings, speeches, presentations, and other events.

  • Organize a system for easy archival and retrieval purposes; maintain files for regular meetings and events and provide historical information in preparation for regular meetings; manage confidential routine files.

  • Escalate any red flags or issues to the Intern Program lead.

Recruiting Support (30% of your time)

  • Research and find prospective students and add them to our Applicant Tracking System.

  • Research and find campus events outside of the career fairs at targeted universities.

  • Find and help us engage with student groups on campuses.

  • Help plan and prepare for university virtual and in-person career fairs in the fall.

Strategy Special Projects (10% of your time)
You will be given a research topic to work on throughout the internship that aligns with your interests and the program's needs.

Examples:

  • Gen Z research, which could include surveys, focus groups you lead, interviews you conduct, and secondary research sources.

  • Current economic trends and the impact on the job market

  • Student groups on campus and their role in recruitment and company awareness

  • Competitor analysis on other college recruiting and development programs

What you will gain:
You will gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the company. You will also get hands-on exposure to a digital business transformation consulting company and learn about the business. Interns receive training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from a dedicated member of the ECP team. This support includes introductory training as well as needed training throughout the summer.
You will also be able to attend all of the leadership presentations, lunch and learns, and social events that the Engineering/Product internship program receives.
You will get the opportunity to present your research project to executives in the firm.

Qualifications
  • Graduate Student, Rising Senior, or Graduating Senior; working towards a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Economics, Business, Marketing, or other related degree

  • Great communication skills

  • Experience in project management/event management and/or strong project management and operational aptitude with the ability to managing multiple projects and initiatives

  • Available to work 40 hours per week in office

  • Self-starter who is results-oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and who takes initiative and risks

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Demonstrate strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, take initiative and showcase curiosity, learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience and proficient in Microsoft office tools/programs

  • Previous work experience, clubs, volunteerism or internships is a plus
