The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the architecture, deployment, configuration, and administration of security toolsets such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Cloud Security solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with leading vendor solutions such as Elastic, Splunk, SentinelOne, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible, Microsoft, and Swimlane. Possessing problem solving skills along with having a growth mindset are essential success criteria. Key Responsibilities: Support deployment, configuration, administration, and health monitoring of SIEM solutions, including data onboarding and SOAR integration to monitor and analyze security events. Support deployment, configuration, administration and health monitoring of EDR solutions to protect endpoints from advanced threats. Support cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Support development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation. Support efforts related to security assessments and vulnerability management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into client and/or internal environments. As needed, provide support during incident response and forensic analysis in the event of security breaches. Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies. Preferred Experience: SIEM Solutions: Elastic, Splunk, Microsoft EDR Solutions: SentinelOne, Elastic Endpoint Security, Microsoft Defender Cloud Security: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Automation and Orchestration: Ansible, Swimlane Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering. Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Relevant industry certifications are a plus. Growth mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
