Role Overview: The Vice President of Consumer and Mortgage Lending provides strategic leadership and direction for the Consumer and Mortgage Lending departments. This role focuses on driving growth in loan portfolios, managing risk, and fostering staff development. The position requires a broad, high-level perspective and collaboration across key business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Credit Risk, Finance, and IT, to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have bachelor's degree in a business-related field. 10+ years of experience in consumer and mortgage lending, with a proven track record in management and supervisory roles. Expertise in all aspects of residential mortgages, including the secondary market, within a credit union or similar financial institution is required. Strong knowledge of Encompass and MeridianLink systems is preferred.
