The Opportunity

This newly created position is a growth-minded leader focused on creating go-to-market strategies and commercialization capability for strategic solutions and services as growth mechanism to Ulteig's business. This role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. The Director, Growth plays a key part in developing, commercializing, and going to market with growth mechanisms like consulting services, new markets and services, product and partnerships to support the strategic focus our Lifeline Sectors of Power, Renewables, Transportation, and Water. The role is responsible for driving transformational growth through diversified solutions to extend client value.

What You'll Do



  • Creates, implements, sells the growth mechanisms for the company, aligned to Ulteig's strategy - product, consulting, partnerships, and new services.
  • Aligns growth mechanisms to the overall corporate strategy, intelligence, and business needs.
  • Sets the overall strategy, execution, and success of the Go-To-Market function within the organization.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive Go-to-Market Operations strategy aligned with the Ulteig's Strategic plan, business objectives and informed by intelligence, ensuring seamless integration with the roadmaps and initiatives across our Lifeline Sectors and Technology.
  • Builds a commercialization function, leveraging and evolving the established processes, to support the successful launch, sale, and support of new products and services.
  • Owns the go-to-market success of launching new services, products, and strategic partnership, including the steering process and sales goals for diversified solutions.
  • Leverages intelligence to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, informing the growth opportunities for Ulteig.
  • Collaborates very closely with Lifeline Sector (LLS) leadership and Marketing to consistently identify needs our existing and new clients may not recognize and ensure that approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
  • Partners closely with Marketing to develop the Marketing Strategy for launching diversified services, which marketing owns.
  • Partners closely with sales operations and proposals, who is responsible for pricing diversified services, developing sales approaches, and developing annuals sales goals (collaborating with operating business).
  • Oversees the development of and incorporates innovation in new products, consulting services and emerging technologies departments to inform the business's strategic direction.
  • Acts as a thought leader intelligence and stays abreast of new and evolving opportunities and risks both within and adjacent to the AEC space.
  • Acts as a vocal advocate and change agent for the adoption of market-led decisions and adapting Ulteig's business for continued growth and expansion into diversified solutions.
  • Builds trust and collaborates closely with Ulteig's leadership team across Strategy, Intelligence, Marketing, Sales and Sales Operations, Lifeline Sector Leadership, and Technology to develop diversified solutions that match the client and business need.
  • Broadly communicates and evangelizes innovation, market-led insights, and adoption of disruption in our business.
  • Coaches and mentors team members, ensuring successful training and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentors and develops team members across the organization for growth opportunities
  • Member of the Ulteig Leadership Team (ULT) where collaboration and engagement in an interdependent organization is expected. May be called upon to lead, manage, or play an active role in different cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Assesses risks and proactively develops mitigation plans in partnership with risk and business leaders; engages with project or program management as needed on larger efforts.
  • Owns the go-to-market success of launching new services, products, and strategic partnership, including the steering process and sales goals for diversified solutions.
  • Builds and maintains external relationships both for thought leadership and resourcing.
  • Demonstrates excellent decision-making, leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Product Management, Marketing or other related field required, MBA preferred
  • Requires 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, consultative sales, product and service development, innovation, business development, and/or engineering.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $174,300 - $235,800
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
