Qualifications EDUCATION Completion of formal Radiology Technology education approved by the A.M.A. AS Degree required. EXPERIENCE Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine Interventional imaging techniques and /or experience in complex diagnostic studies. Minimum of 9 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist required. LICENSURE ARRT and CT state License required. CPR certifcation required. SPECIAL SKILLS Must have the ability to work closely with Patients and Physicians. Must have Extensive anatmoical knowledge. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work on an interdisciplinary tream required. Must be able to learn and new equipment and procedures and troubleshoot equipment issues. Must maintain an awareness of all radation and patient safety issues involved in all procedures. Ability to be flexible to meet with changing needs of the health care environment and YNHH required. Must be knowledgable of all regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. PHYSICAL DEMAND On call required; must meet YNHH policy for arriving to Department within 30 minutes of call.
