Senior Data Analyst (Hybrid)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Data Analyst with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 1st, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $66,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

• Act as the key point of contact between the offshore development team and onsite collaborators (IT & Business) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and team members to gain a clear understanding of requirements and outline them. Then, transform the requirements into technical specifications for the IT team.
• Manage and mentor the offshore development team to guarantee the on-time and efficient attainment of project breakthroughs, offering assistance as required to overcome challenges.
• Take full ownership of the project timeline, tracking progress, managing resources, and ensuring all work meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Regularly communicate project status, timelines, and any potential blockers or issues to our collaborators, customers, partners, and team members, both onsite and offshore.
• Proactively identify potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies where possible. Ensure timely communication with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members when necessary to keep the project on track.
• Facilitate regular meetings and reviews with both IT and Business teams to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and any changes in scope or requirements.
• Ensure that all work meets business requirements and quality standards through regular reviews and testing, coordinating with both IT and Business teams.
• Encourage feedback loops and retrospectives after completing a project to identify areas for process improvement and implement standard methodologies for future projects.

• Proven track record of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data management, analysis, and analytics within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong expertise in SQL for querying and managing large datasets. Proficient with AWS Athena, S3, and Databricks for efficient data processing, storage, and analysis.
• Extensive experience in handling marketing data, including collecting, processing, and analyzing customer insights, campaign performance, and digital metrics to support data-driven marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of or hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques, including predictive analytics, customer segmentation, or personalization algorithms, is a plus.
• Experience in designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines to support scalable analytics solutions and reporting frameworks.
• Proficient in using data visualization tools (such as Tableau and Power BI) to develop informative dashboards and reports that convey important insights to collaborators.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets, draw actionable insights, and solve business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Experience working closely with business, IT, and marketing teams to understand their data needs and
• Knowledge of data governance principles, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
