Thomson Reuters is seeking a dynamic and experienced senior manager to lead team leaders and staff in achieving the objectives of the verification tax season. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with stakeholders and site verification managers, both onshore and offshore, to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. This role is essential in maintaining compliance with operational business policies and external requirements while striving for service excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for the Sr. Manager role is a proactive leader with a strong track record in managing and inspiring teams. You possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. You have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of compliance and operational policies. Your strategic mindset and budget management skills enable you to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in all aspects of the verification process. About the Role: * Lead and inspire team leaders and staff to achieve verification tax season objectives. * Collaborate with stakeholders and site verification managers to ensure KPI achievement. * Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation. * Provide direction and coaching to employees in line with department policies and management guidance. * Contribute to policy and procedural changes and ensure implementation by teams. * Act as the point of escalation for complex issues. * Organize and prioritize the function's overall objectives. * Cascade and prioritize objectives to team leaders effectively. * Monitor compliance with operational business policies and external requirements like Sarbanes Oxley. * Ensure agreed volume, service, and quality targets are met, continually striving for stretch targets. * Provide subject matter expertise to strategic business projects. * Manage the budget to ensure costs remain within prescribed limits. About You: * Proven experience in a leadership role within a similar environment. * Minimum of 5 years' experience. * Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple objectives effectively. * Experience with budget management and cost containment. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
