Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Product Support Representative in Myersville, Maryland. The Product Support Representative is responsible for maximizing the sale of parts and service capabilities by calling on customers in an assigned territory. The individual in this role demonstrates initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service and dedication for finding solutions in an efficient manner. Seeking candidates with at least two years of experience in power systems industry, preferred. Demonstrated success in a sales environment, preferred. College degree in a related field preferred.
Requirements for the Product Support Representative position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Product Support Representative job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. This position may require reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto and under a variety of heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned. Compensation Range: $60,000-$80,000 a year (base plus commissions) This is a sales position with a base salary plus monthly commissions.
