Moss-Magee Rehab is a 21 bed general rehab unit. Our unit specializes in LVADs, life vests, milrinone drips and liver transplants. We also serve patients with strokes, ortho trauma, general ortho, amputees and mild traumatic brain injuries. The ages served are 18 and above.

Well known for its success treating spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, traumatic brain injury and related conditions, Moss-Magee Rehab sees nearly 2,800 inpatients and 190,000 outpatients yearly.

Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following:

• Must be able to work eight (8) hour shifts
• Must be able to work every third (3rd) weekend
• Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season
  

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Unit Secretary will perform various clerical responsibilities on nursing units including:

• Provides support to the nurse manager with reports, data, and special assignments.
• Transcribes physician orders for medications, diets, treatments, etc.
• Coordinate errands as directed/necessary for the department
• Prepare, comply, and maintain patient records
  

To qualify as Unit Secretary, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months of clerical experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
