We are seeking an exceptional Cybersecurity Specialist in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. IGC provides a single place for access to common data, business services and information on material asset visibility and cohesive, integrated data services for the management of supply, distribution, and logistics to the combatant commands, military services, and other federal agencies. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a key member of a dynamic team developing innovative logistics solutions to sustain warfighter readiness and lethality.

Requirements
  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
  • Conduct cybersecurity planning support by performing Assessment and Authorization and Risk Management activities to maintain system authorization and support follow-on activities.
  • Monitor and analyze Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Notices, USTRANSCOM Security Notifications, United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team, and vendor security advisories. Determine system impact, identify mitigating factors, and provide recommendations to the Government regarding potential courses of action.
  • Review of the Host Based Security System and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution scans to review for applicability to IGC. Respond immediately to security incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis. Update and upgrade security systems as needed.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Manager.

Education & Experience

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR
  • Bachelor's degree (any field) + One of the certifications: Security+, GSEC, CASP+, CND, CySA+, CCNA
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or AWS Certified Security Specialty

Minimum Experience: 8 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.

Minimum Clearance: DoD Secret

Desired Qualifications: Experience with USTRANSCOM IT programs

Place of Performance: On-site, Scott AFB
