DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the supervisor of the Case Aide Unit, you will be responsible for providing supervision and coordination for case aides, as well as serving as a member of the leadership team and coordinating paternity testing, transportation, and supervised visitation. This professional supports case aides by coordinating schedules, assigning daily tasks, and conducting bi-weekly supervision sessions. You will also oversee the development and implementation of various educational training opportunities for CYF families, staff, and the public. Additional areas of focus include maintaining confidential medical and educational records for children in placement, managing the agency's vehicle fleet, and ensuring visitation rooms are well maintained. This role requires knowledge of the functions, procedures, and organization of the agency in order to ensure that the case aides meet the needs of the caseworkers and clients. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Irregular work schedule may occur depending on the needs of the agency.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a staff assistant to an administrative officer or as a technician in a staff service of a large organization; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
