POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Automation Developer serves as the in-house technical administrator and subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, playing a pivotal role in optimizing member engagement throughout their journey with Lighthouse Credit Union. This semi-autonomous position requires strong technical expertise, including Salesforce Administrator certification, to design, execute, and manage personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns. By leveraging Salesforce platforms, the Marketing Automation Developer ensures that members receive the best products and services tailored to their needs, driving organizational growth, and improving marketing performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Serves as the technical administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, ensuring platform functionality, data integrity, and compliance with organizational goals.

* Designs, configures, and executes multichannel campaigns (email, SMS, in-app) to support member acquisition, onboarding, retention, and lifecycle engagement.

* Implements and optimizes lifecycle marketing programs to drive member engagement at key touchpoints, reducing churn and fostering loyalty.

* Builds and maintains advanced audience segmentation strategies, leveraging data insights to create targeted, personalized campaigns.

* Utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to analyze member behavior, uncover high-value audience segments, and integrate findings into ongoing campaigns.

* Collaborates with the Growth Marketing team to create data models identifying traits of potential members and informing acquisition strategies.

* Monitors campaign performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to refine messaging, segmentation, and communication flows.

* Partners with cross-functional teams to align campaigns with broader organizational objectives and member insights.

* Stays informed about emerging trends in marketing automation, CRM technology, and lifecycle marketing to maintain a competitive edge.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

* Advanced in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to manage campaigns and extract insights.

* Exceptional project management and attention to detail.

* Effective at educating and/or advising others. * Action-oriented, energetic and welcomes challenges. Able to be a self-starter in an entrepreneurial-like environment.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field.

* 3+ years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing.

* Salesforce Administration Certification with a deep technical understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud is required.

* Expertise in A/B testing, campaign analytics, and audience segmentation.

* Familiarity with financial services marketing is a plus but not required.

* Experience in building collaborative relationships.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

The working arrangement for this position is hybrid. Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization. Hybrid schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business unit needs and may vary by department.
