Medstar Georgetown University Hospital's Division of Audiology is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our practice in Washington, DC. This position offers the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained clinical staff.

We are seeking providers with the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Audiology or AuD is required.
  • Licensure as an Audiologist in the District of Columbia.
  • A Virginia license will provide wider practice opportunities.
  • Certification by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.

Responsibilities of the Provider:

  • Provide full range of diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients, including neonates, with hearing disorders or balance disturbances.
  • Evaluate, select and fit patients with cochlear and bone conduction implants, assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and amplification systems.
  • Train audiology interns.

General Summary

The Division of Audiology is part of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). The division provides care at three locations, including MGUH, the division's main clinical site on Wisconsin Avenue, and at a McLean, Va. satellite office. The department includes 13 physician providers and two Physician Associates. The Division of Audiology currently has five providers but will expand to six providers with this recruiting effort. As noted above, we seek a provider who is broadly trained in audiology and comfortable with the variety of patients cared for in our practice.
