Your effort and expertise are crucial to the success and execution of this impactful mission that is critical in ensuring mission success through SIGDEV Analysts, Systems Engineers, Junior Engineers, Telecommunication Technical Analysts and System Administrators by improving, protecting, and defending our Nation's Security. Job Description: We are looking for a Systems Engineer to perform remote maintenance and refresh efforts for eight sites, with annual travel to each location. You will engage daily with partner entities, leveraging your expertise in Linux and Ciena systems to support administration, troubleshooting, software loading, and configuration of telecom networks and software packages. Your role will also involve understanding cables and collection systems, data flow, and collaborating with subject matter experts to validate data post-deployment, submit Data Management Requests (DMRs) for data flow issues, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting. Proficiency in NiFi and Linux is essential. The Level 1 Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding System Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the System Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Qualifications:
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 118,000-190,000 The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
