Job Summary

The Director, Linear Partnerships is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with linear television inventory providers for Optimum Media's National Video offering. Working closely with the Planning and Buying team, the Director will manage inventory partnerships to maximize delivery and clearance of linear advertising campaigns at favorable rates. The Director will also make major contributions to the development of product and strategic roadmaps for new markets. Additionally, this leader will also contribute to the analysis and redesign, as needed, of operational workflows and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with linear and broadcast media inventory providers
  • Working closely with the planning and buying team, manage the inventory partnerships to maximize clearance and delivery of advertising campaigns with consistent pacing
  • Working closely with inventory partners, establish optimal rates for buying advertising inventory
  • Working closely with the planning and buying team, manage inventory partnerships to deliver on target margins
  • Participate in the planning and buying steering committee to successfully drive 90%+ clearance rates and consistent pacing
  • Specify the operational and product requirements for strategic product expansions into new markets
  • Contribute to the product roadmap of underlying technology platforms
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrable extensive applicable experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in the linear television advertising media planning and buying business.
  • Minimum of five years of linear television advertising inventory partnership building and management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and existing relationships with, linear and broadcast television advertising inventory providers.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of linear and broadcast television media planning and buying.
  • Extensive knowledge of broadcast OTT/CTV media planning and buying.
  • Ability to maintain focus on the customer and desired customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator with a confident and collaborative style and adept at aligning internal and external stakeholders towards common goals.
  • Strong bias for action and data-driven decision-making.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New Yorkis $141,372.00- $232,254.00/ year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Californiais $141,372.00-$232,254.00/ year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter.
