Job Summary

The Senior Director, National Video Operations is responsible for driving the strategic operational design of Optimum Media's National Video offering. This leader will contribute to all aspects of day-to-day operations as well as the growth and maturation of the organization and is critical to the overall success of the National Video offering. The Senior Director will manage the analysis, and the redesign, as needed, of all functions of the linear television planning and buying process, including inventory partnerships, partnerships with internal and external partners, planning and buying, and related internal and external workflows and processes. Additionally, this leader will contribute to the development of product and strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the planning of efficient linear advertising campaigns by the Planning and Buying team.
  • Contribute to the efficient inventory purchasing of advertising inventory by the Planning and Buying and Linear Partnerships teams.
  • Contribute to the Planning & Buying and Linear Partnerships teams' goal of delivering campaigns with 95%+ delivery and consistent pacing.
  • Contribute to the Planning & Buying and Linear Partnerships teams' goal of delivering target margins.
  • Manage the analysis, the redesign as needed, and the ongoing operation of financial and operational data workflows between Buying and Planning, Finance, Accounting, and Operational Management.
  • Manage the analysis, the redesign as needed, of communication workflows between Buying and Planning, Customer Success, and Sales.
  • Participate in the Planning and Buying steering committee.
  • Manage and design as necessary, operational processes, workflows, and integrations with internal and external partnerships.
  • Ensure the efficient and cohesive operations of the entire National Video organization
  • Contribute to the product roadmap of underlying technology platforms.
  • Specify operational requirements for product expansions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrable extensive applicable experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of linear television advertising media operational management experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of linear television advertising media planning and buying experience.
  • Expert communicator - written and oral skills
  • Ability to maintain focus on the customer and desired customer outcomes
  • Analytically driven, able to collect, analyze and alter processes to improve facts demonstrated in related data
  • Strong process design and process optimization skills
  • Process automation expertise
  • Ability to manage remote teams across time zones

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $161,186.00- $230,265.00 / year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Californiais $161,186.00-$230,265.00 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
