Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship. Occasional weekend, holiday, comp and overtime hours required as needed. Must work a minimum of one home football game every year in addition to every other Thanksgiving week home football game. PurposeWill manage a late night "safe ride" program that is largely student-facing. Responsible for support and services through program development, enhancement, and measurement; Responsible service delivery; Coordination of stakeholder activities, routine communication, forecast budgeting, verification of program compliance, and compliance documentation; Provides customer service; May supervise a team of direct reports or act as an individual contributor. Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree with a combination of at least three years' experience coordinating programs, coordinating and/or working in a student affairs capacity, and making complex administrative decisions. Must be able to lead and support Sure Walk and UT Night Rides employees and volunteers (primarily student employees). Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accomplish tasks in a timely manner. Must be able to be self-managed and work independently when needed. Must be able to collaborate with other staff to effectively complete projects. Must be able to think critically to manage incidents that arise and to support staff in following appropriate Sure Walk and UT Night Rides policies and protocols. Must have a commitment to supporting student safety and success. Must have clean driving record at time of hire and maintain an acceptable TX DMV rating at all times. Upon hire, must complete and pass a criminal background check. Professional demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Proven coordinator skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree with more than five years' experience relative to program management. More than three years of university operations experience, and three years supervisory experience. Demonstrated excellent customer service experience. Experience as a contributing member of a team. Knowledgeable and experience with student-oriented programs. Tact, diplomacy, and judgement in dealing with others. Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with campus and community organizations in a leadership capacity. Experience supervising and supporting student employees and volunteers. Experience facilitating meetings, group dialogue, and resolving conflict. Driver RequiredThis job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing). Salary Range$47,484.00 + depending on qualifications, plus a 10% shift differential Working Conditions
Thursday - Monday, 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM Flexible work arrangements are offered during interim periods when the programs are non-operational: winter and summer holidays, and any other times the UT dorms are closed. Required Materials
