Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $24.23/hr - $30.29/hr+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate the Trimble equipment by using standards to produce accurate construction layouts.
* Work alongside project leaders to coordinate layout and smooth project execution work-flow.
* Consult with the design staff to review project deliverables for accuracy and contract requirements.
* Perform quality checks, install hanger inserts, block outs, sleeves, or other project markers during the installation process.
* Regularly communicate progress updates to on-site leadership.
* Complete the tasks above with a high level of accuracy in various working conditions.

* Properly maintain and care for Trimble unit and associated equipment.
* Work within software packages to produce or update documents, spreadsheets, databases, email, and other information secondary to deliverables.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating Trimble equipment in the field, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Secondary Responsibilities:
* Work within software packages to produce or update documents, spreadsheets, databases, and other information secondary to deliverables.
* Complete design progress updates in Revit.
* Execute 3D scanning work and registration of scans.


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma required and 1-2 years' experience using Trimble.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Effective communication with team members to accomplish project goals
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and other project documentation
  • Excellent math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and mechanical inclination
  • High standards of professionalism and the ability to deal tactfully with customers and clients
  • Sound judgment skills and the ability to prioritize work and deal with stress
  • Capable of handling Interstates on site work schedule and attendance policies.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Must adhere to the rules of construction while on the construction site. Hard hat, safety glasses provided by Interstates.

Travel Requirements: This position is part of our Omaha team and daily travel to the job-site will be required. Future project opportunities may require additional travel and/or relocation.
