Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is looking for a talented Senior Technical Writer. The ideal candidate has the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, eye-pleasing, and reader-friendly documentation. This role is critical in setting documentation standards to produce high-quality content that supports the team's technical and operational needs. This position is on-site work in Hanover, Maryland.
Position Responsibilities:
Documentation Development:
* Create, edit, and maintain a wide range of documentation, including reports, SOPs/TTPs, system requirements documentation, technical solution whitepapers, and operational briefings.
* Translate technical information into understandable content for diverse audiences.
* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information for inclusion in documentation.
Documentation Standards and Quality Assurance
* Develop and enforce documentation standards, ensuring consistency and usability across all materials.
* Establish style guides and templates.
* Review and proofread documentation before distribution for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established standards.
* Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the quality and relevance of documentation.
Document Control
* Ensure version management practices are implemented to ensure up-to-date and accurate documentation, team collaboration, efficiency, and quality. * Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all documentation.
