Network Administrator II - Site Survey

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph clearance to be considered.

Criterion Systems is seeking a mission-focused Network Administrator II-Site Survey to support and contribute to our government customer's success on-site in Washington, D.C.! This role supports our customer and global mission partners. We focus on designing, transitioning, operating, and improving services, including tech modernization, refresh, and managing DIA LANs, WANs, and UC services.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Network Administrator II - Site Survey: $145,000 - $165,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Network Administrator II - Site Survey Responsibilities Include:



  • Support site survey and engineering designs data calls.
  • Demonstrating innovative network engineering acumen for improvements to site, location, or enterprise performance.
  • Support new and enhanced network implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale.
  • Provide recommendations that enhance efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and overall operations.
  • Participating in engineering designs/decisions that impact installation or modification of components directly impacting mission success.
  • Manage survey, design, implementation, installation, or technical refresh projects within a site or locale.
  • Traveling to other sites for network engineering and administration activities and support.
  • Unpacking, moving network components of average weight and volume.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Network Administrator II - Site Survey Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Active TS/SCI with willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Years of experience with one of the following:

    • High School/GED plus seven (9) years of relevant experience
    • Associate degree plus five (7) years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree plus three (5) years of relevant experience
    • Master's degree plus one (3) years of relevant experience

  • DOD 8140 certification(s): IAT II, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
  • At least 50% CONUS travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
