About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and standardizing project management practices within the Program. This role ensures that the interrelated projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining alignment with the project and business objectives. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and the PMO professional will develop frameworks, manage resources, monitor project performance, and provide governance and reporting support to ensure successful project outcomes. The Program Manager acts as a critical liaison between stakeholders, ensuring successful program delivery and driving continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities
Project Management Governance:
* Define, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
* Establish governance frameworks to ensure projects align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
* Develop and maintain project dashboards, templates, and documentation.
Program Management, Planning and Strategy:
* Oversee the project programme, ensuring prioritization and resource allocation align with objectives.
* Track key project milestones, interdependencies, risks, and issues across the portfolio.
* Prepare executive-level reporting on portfolio performance, risks, and outcomes.
* Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
* Develop comprehensive program roadmaps, outlining project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
* Align program outcomes with strategic priorities, ensuring a focus on value delivery.
Program Execution and Oversight:
* Coordinate and manage multiple projects within the program, ensuring synergy and efficiency.
* Monitor program progress, resolving issues, and addressing risks that impact program success.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration across project teams to ensure alignment.
Stakeholder Management:
* Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and project managers.
* Provide regular updates and reports on program status, risks, and achievements,
* Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns proactively.
Resource and Budget Management:
* Allocate resources across projects to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
* Monitor program budgets, ensuring financial health and adherence to allocated resources.
* Identify and resolve resource constraints and recommend adjustments when necessary.
Risk Management:
* Identify, assess, and manage risks across the program portfolio.
* Implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues before they impact outcomes.
* Develop frameworks for identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
* Facilitate risk management workshops and track mitigation plans.
Process Development & Improvement:
* Streamline and document project workflows, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality across project delivery.
Project Support and Coaching:
* Provide support to project managers and teams in planning, execution, and delivery.
* Offer training on project management practices, tools, and PMO standards.
* Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to resolve escalated issues.
The experience we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
* PMP, PgMP, or similar project / program management certification is highly desirable.
* 7+ years of experience in project or program management, with a proven track record of managing complex programs.
* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Strong background in managing budgets, resources, and timelines for large-scale initiatives.
* Process Improvement experience (Six Sigma Approach) a plus.
* Proven ability to manage a project portfolio and implement PMO frameworks.
* Strong background in resource management, governance, and reporting.
Skills:
* Deep understanding of program and project management methodologies
* Proficiency in tools like MS Project or other program management software.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Effective team facilitator.

US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
