Prevent Child Abuse Georgia in the Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development

School of Public Health

Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (PCA Georgia) in the Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development, School of Public Health is seeking a part-time Sponsor Funded Administrative Coordinator who will perform administrative work coordinating the daily activities of Prevent Child Abuse Georgia and its sponsor funded projects.

This position is part-time, 20-hours per week in office at the Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development within the School of Public Health.


Duties include but are not limited to:



  • Assists in the budget development and fiscal management for PCA Georgia; approves, monitors expenditures, and coordinates the payment of invoices.
  • Processes donations, thank you notes, and donor information in the Salesforce CRM Database
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes all incoming mail and documents.
  • Assists leadership with special projects and reports.
  • May supervise the work of lower-level office staff or student assistants.
    Maintains department records and files and supports program data input and auditing within Salesforce and other record systems.
  • Drafts reports and correspondence, processes forms, and distribute reports as needed.
  • Serves as liaison with administrative units.
  • Serves as the contact person for the front office to callers, visitors, faculty, and staff.
  • Delivers payments and donations to Cashiers Office and Foundations.
  • Inventories supplies and equipment, and monitors expenditures with program budgets.
  • Coordinates functional processes within a Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, such as testing programs or processing personnel activities.
  • Initiates, maintains and monitors contracts, PantherMart, employee travel, subscriptions and other program supply purchases.
  • Assists leadership in implementing policies and procedures, monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assists in planning logistics and contracts for events, such as conferences, workshops, room reservations, training, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintains databases using platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, etc.
  • Coordinate workflow processes of program materials (printing, binding), shipments of supplies, events and donor appeal campaigns.
  • Reconciles sales and service invoices and payments.
  • Oversight of purchasing and sales orders from Prevent Child Abuse Georgia's online store.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and one-year administrative experience; or a high school diploma or GED and five years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to show discretion and judgment in working with various stakeholders and act in the best interest of the organization and its members.
  • Ability to work with direction and work independently, as appropriate.

  • The ability to manage and prioritize competing demands to meet shifting timelines and priorities in a team-based, collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable in a highly productive, fast-paced, multi-project office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, basic office technology, and ability to learn other software tools. Knowledge of various computer equipment, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software packages. Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Knowledge of office policies and procedures. Knowledge of GSU policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to receive direction, input, and feedback from multiple sources.
  • Ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
