This HYBRID position supports the railcar product engineering function for a group of railcar product codes. The incumbent is part of a team that delivers product specifications, work instructions, and support to procure, optimize and maintain a portfolio of railcar products that meet or exceed customer, GATX, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Execute railcar modification programs for a group of product codes
Deliver feasibility and cost assessment in response to railcar modification inquiries
Support the ongoing development and administration of the GATX maintenance program for a group of railcar products
Railcar product specifications and standards
Railcar product support

As of January 27, 2025, the salary range for this position is $59,600.00 to $89,000.00. This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs. This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire. |
