We have an exciting position for a Project Manager with even management skills for San Jose California area As a Project/Event manager: Create project plans for events and schedule/facilitate meetings. Event planning from booking/setting up rooms, to managing invitation lists. Should be comfortable using WebEx and Sharepoint. Some social media involved as well * Job title: Project/Program/Event Manager Pay:* 35-45 and hr Location: Hybrid - 1 - 3 days on site per month in Sane Jose CA Duration: 12 month Contract can extend or convert Minimum Requirements: - Create Project Plan for events and schedule and facilitate status meetings - Schedule conference rooms food/beverages audio visual collaboration etc. - Managing invitation list with confirmed attendees reminders via email and Webex space - Market event to entire organization to increase participation - Capture photos and save to SharePoint site - Capture attendance survey and other key metrics post event - Solicit speakers from internal and external outreach - Build local site volunteer communities to help with day of event activities * Desired Skills: * 1. Microsoft Office Productivity tool expertise . 2. Ability to work independently and escalate as required 3. Project and event management experience Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
