Inpro, an award-winning company based in Muskego, Wisconsin, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to succeed our retiring CIO. This position will lead our digital transformation initiatives and be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our IT department, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance business processes, improve customer experience, and create value across the organization. The CIO will also ensure the scalability and alignment of ERP, CRM, and other systems to support the company's growth. Location: Inpro World Headquarters, Muskego, WI USA. This is an on-site position. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the overall IT strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
- Lead the digital transformation efforts, ensuring the integration of digital technologies into all areas of the business.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Involved with the development of the company's strategic plan and will co-sponsor strategic projects on an annual basis.
- AI and Digital Transformation:
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to optimize business processes and decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and product development.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
- ERP, CRM, and System Alignment:
- Ensure the scalability and alignment of ERP, CRM, and other systems to support the company's growth and business objectives.
- Oversee the integration and optimization of these systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and ensure that the systems support their requirements.
- Oversee company communication systems: Phone system, Teams, Mobile devices, etc. Ensure they each support the company's business needs.
- IT Infrastructure and Operations:
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology and resources.
- Data Management and Analytics:
- Develop and execute a data strategy that supports the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to drive business insights and innovation.
- Implement advanced analytics and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Develop a strong understanding of Inpro's business.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management team to align IT initiatives with business priorities.
- Collaborate and support marketing department efforts with our corporate website and e-commerce strategies.
- Collaborate and support our HR department with UKG integrations.
- Communicate the value of IT and digital transformation to stakeholders across the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts.
- Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence within the IT department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a CIO or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and digital transformation strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing IT budgets and resources effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of industry best practices for IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.
