About the role Under the leadership of the Regional Customs Manager, the FTZ Analyst must Follow the guidelines for compliance to the CBP regulations 19 CFR 146, CBP's FTZ operating manual, and the Foreign-Trade Zones Board Regulations. This person is responsible for managing the daily process of enforcing trade compliance activities in a consistent effort to comply with all government import/export regulations, operating procedures, and policies. The position supports the Americas Logistics organization covering operational analytics and FTZ Inventory mgmt. Works in conjunction with imports/ in-house brokerage, transportation, exports and related functional areas. Also handles a high volume of inventory validation requests, monthly reports, identifying new HTS codes and applicable PGA data affected by zone operation.This position is hybrid in East Windsor, NJ. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Utilize Inventory Control and Record Keeping Systems in order to manage and properly report inventory movements to CBP
- Research and validate foreign vs. domestic receipts into the FTZ
- Analyze purchase order data and prepare weekly estimated entry (CF3461) based on import volumes
- Validate FTZ data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information.
- Managing and investigating inventory inaccuracies through the FTZ Software, receiving shipments, processing adjustments and shipping orders
- Identify, reconcile, and resolve any inventory issues in a prompt and timely manner
- Research shortages and file discrepancy reports for FTZ operation
- Review and resolve Foreign Trade Zone errors and warnings for HTS & PGA data and other FTZ related holds placed on materials and transactions
- Quarterly checks for new vendors and parts to be added or updated in ICRS
- Routinely update and report to direct management concerning activities related to the FTZ on a quarterly basis.
- Provide compliance-related audits of the FTZ warehouse and ensure security measures are in place
- Work with the operations team to identify, evaluate and administer opportunities to facilitate trade in a cost-effective and compliant manner (e.g., make use of applicable Free Trade Agreements, Duty Drawback, Foreign Trade Zones, etc.)
- Support FTZ Administrator andother Trade Compliance Department activities as assigned
- Act as a point of contact for related business areas on FTZ & trade-related matters.
- Assist with special projects, assignments, and other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Required Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Logistics or International Business or equivalent /combination of education and related experience.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Export Specialist, Certified Zone Specialist or Equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in classification of the (HTS), Schedule B codes, interpretation of the GRI, Title 19 & 21 of the CFR.
- 3+ years experience in customs brokerage, compliance, valuation, and entry procedures
- Understanding of U.S. import and export regulations and practices
- 3+ years' experience working in FTZ operations, inventory control systems, warehousing, and logistics
- SAP & GTS experience preferred
- Knowledge of other government agencies and U.S. Customs regulations as related to import/export requirements (e.g., FDA, CPSC, FCC, USDA, EPA, ITAR, and EAR)
- Knowledge of Record keeping requirements, rules, and regulations
- Proven track record of successful liaison with regulatory authorities

- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
The salary range for this position is from $70,000-85,000 depending on experience and location with an 8% bonus #LI-MV1
