The market manager plays a key support role within the Portfolio Management (Chemicals) organization. The position is designed to assist Chemicals Portfolio Leadership and the entire Portfolio Management Organization with analysis and implementation of strategies that support the expansion Avantor's Chemicals business with key suppliers and customers. This position will have the following primary functions: conducting various data analyses, managing new supplier on-boarding via internal Toll Gate Process, executing product additions/deletions, managing the Portfolio's pricing process with suppliers, filling in for the Portfolio Director(s) when needed, as well as fulfilling ad-hoc requests for information, data and analysis as required.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in science required. Chemistry - preferred Technical degree and/or MBA preferred 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with multi-department project management in global, matrix organization Demonstrated history of meeting deadlines and achieving results while maintaining strong attention to details in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
