IT & D

The IT&D Manufacturing Operations team is ultimately the face of the IT&D organization into each Reckitt factory for the North America Region. The IT&D Manager - Wilson Role is a leadership role within the IT&D Manufacturing NAC organization and is specifically responsible for the Wilson factory in North Carolina. The role is based in on site as the factory.

About the role

The candidate will be responsible for activation of all strategic IT&D initiatives in the factory. Establishing an account manager relationship with factory leadership, this person will ensure that there is a clear communication line between all parties and that stakeholders buy in and commit to a transformation journey.

North America is Reckitt's biggest region by net revenue and with huge focus on supply chain resilience in the past couple of years, ensuring resilient and local production is imperative to the Reckitt group.

In managing the relationship, this person will engage with global IT&D product groups, including those outside of Supply IT&D to establish roadmaps for business capabilities and digitalization within the factory, manage the portfolio of digital change in each factory, and champion a healthy and stable factory IT&D ecosystem.

Your responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

* IT Strategy and Planning:

o Develop and execute the factory IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives.

o Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational performance.

o Collaborate with senior management to prioritize IT initiatives and investments.

* Infrastructure Management:

o Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of factory IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems.

o Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

* Manufacturing Systems Integration:

o Lead the integration of IT systems with manufacturing equipment and automation technologies.

o Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement data-driven solutions for process optimization and quality control.

* Data and Analytics, RPA:

o Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from manufacturing data and identify opportunities for process optimization.

o Deploy process automation capabilities using Reckitt tools.

* Cybersecurity and Compliance:

o Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect factory IT systems and sensitive data from cyber threats and breaches.

o Ensure compliance with Reckitt Policies, industry regulations and standards related to IT security, data privacy, and intellectual property protection.

* Project Titan - IT PMO

o Ensure that the end to end delivery of the IT project deliverables related to the new site start up in sync with the Project Titan operational milestones/roadmap.

o Responsible for ensuring proper IT project governance is followed for each activity including IT demand management with global product team, Critical path tracking, Budget management and coordination with Procurement/Legal for external vendor contracts.

* Best in class business partnering: The IT&D Manager will need to build relationships (virtually and in-person) with the Reckitt Manufacturing community, with Global Teams and with key players across the global functions. Should also be able to function at an operational level and be able to create tangible and sustainable relationships with the key business teams and leaders within the factory and on the shop floor

* Must be confident to guide and challenge the thinking of leaders through superior communication and presentation skills (presenting to various senior, cross-functional and multi-cultural audiences)

* Oversight on the relationship and execution of Manufacturing operations with sufficient process understanding to present solutions to business teams, whilst equally articulating problems to technical or delivery teams

* Sound judgment with strong IT and commercial acumen: persistent and focused on the best possible outcome for Reckitt and aligning outcomes to the business goals

* Must be a proactive self-starter: able to network, learn and take decisions independently; able to clarify and document unclear situations, set standards, and drive out uncertainty

* Attitude and aptitude to thrive in a fast-moving, demanding, dynamic and ambiguous environment, with the personal integrity to make positive change and continuously look for improvement opportunities

The experience we're looking for

* Degree qualified or equivalent

* Experience of working in a complex organisation with a global scope within FMCG/Healthcare manufacturing environment is essential (8 + years)

* Project Management and Change Management skills Essential - eg PMP certified

* Technical IT Network Infrastructure design and implementation Essential

* Demonstrable Manufacturing process understanding and proficiency; experience with IT Operating Model alongside Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0

* Knowledge of key Industrial Automation and Data Analytics systems desirable

* Fluent English essential.

US salary ranges

USD$120,000.00- $180,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
