About This Role:

Key Accountabilities:

Create and lead the strategy and implementation of key mortgage and other strategic initiatives

  • Identifies objectives and builds a strategic marketing and execution plan to create the right message to the right customers and prospects (lead generation).
  • Oversee marketing projects from inception of the strategy, to coordination with the Creative Team, Marketing Operations for delivery/execution, Legal, Compliance, Analytics and business partners, to results presentations. Focus will be on Centralized and Community Mortgage Efforts.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Individual Segment to understand bank and customer needs in order to develop marketing plans to drive increased business.
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape and current offers within each market to help develop, design and provide recommendations for marketing strategies.
  • Manage marketing costs to most effective/competitive levels. Ensure budget is on target.
  • Utilize analytics information to improve marketing plan efforts through understanding customers, markets, channels and products.
  • Influence key stakeholders through logic, persuasion, inspiration, analytics and financial justification.

Continuous Improvement: Provide input to Manager to enhance work group/team effectiveness.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities and provide input on the enhancement of policy and procedure.

Cross Functional Working Relationships (CFWR): Work collaboratively with peers and management to maintain Service Level Agreements with all assigned CFWR.

  • Consult with strategic partners and understand the banks key business needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members, marketing, business partners and sales teams to identify, define and validate marketing plan strategy, results, and integration touch-points.

Compliance: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.

  • Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.
  • Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations.
  • Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
  • If applicable, ensure direct reports meet the above requirements and take action to address employee performance issues.

Professionalism/Attendance: Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with departmental/divisional policy.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry
  • Customer campaign/management experience
  • 5+ years' experience in financial services marketing, mortgage marketing, lead generation, digital marketing, brand marketing, product marketing, direct marketing, or marketing program management
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing and handling multiple projects
  • Knowledge of enterprise marketing and sales processes.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills, with an ability to work effectively with Sales and Business Development to lead and execute on a wide variety of product marketing initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and execution skills
  • Capable of strategic thinking and moving strategic plans into action
  • Successful budget management experience managing marketing promotional costs

Desired:

  • MBA
  • Previous experience in bank industry marketing
  • Previous experience with bank products (ideally mortgage) and market dynamics.
  • Lead Generation experience
  • Marketing Automation Journey experience
  • Social media experience
  • SEO experience

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $78,491.00-$129,509.00

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
