Job Title: Designer A

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview

The Designer A is responsible for preparing routine to complex layouts, charts, graphs, maps, engineered designs, drawings, and diagrams using drafting techniques. These designs are based on technical specifications and instructions.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

The following outlines the general nature of the role but is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:

* Create detailed designs and layouts.

* Coordinate with other sections as necessary.

* Review and check drawings, which may require entering various areas of production.

* Ensure compliance with CAD standards.

* Design according to Bollinger standards, incorporating common materials wherever possible.

* Ensure designs meet the requirements of applicable regulatory bodies and job specifications.

* Follow standard practices and procedures, including PRNs, ECPs, EARs, budget requests, and drawing checkouts.

* Coordinate and review vendor information.

* Collaborate with other personnel as needed.

* Incorporate and document comments from owners, regulatory bodies, and other governing entities.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Strong knowledge of design principles and drafting techniques.

* Familiarity with manufacturing processes.

* Good understanding of regulatory requirements and standards.

* Proficiency in working with drafting materials and equipment.

Experience & Training

* Completion of two years of college coursework equivalent to an AA degree in Industrial Technology or a related field is preferred.

* Experience levels are categorized as follows:

o 6+ years of experience.

* Any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
