Training Specialist II ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTThe Training Specialist II facilitates training programs, in support of organization's mission and goals, such as new hire classes for branch and contact center employees. The role is responsible for keeping training materials up-to-date, and for creating instructor led training (ILT) events, assigning assessments, monitoring enrollments and verifying test scores in the VyStar Learning Center. In addition, they are expected to recommend training re-design alternatives and, on occasion, designing both traditional and e-learning modules under the supervision of VyStar's Technical Training Manager. The Training Specialist II will partner with others in the department to mentoring and certify new Training Specialist IIs (via team-teaching and subsequent coaching) who are working toward becoming certified to solo-teach the above training programs. In addition, the Training Specialist II is responsible for directing the activities of the training participants within the physical or virtual classroom and are expected to travel or train offsite as business needs dictate. This position reports to VyStar's Technical Training Manager and can expect the following mix of duties: Training Preparation and Facilitation (70%), Training Support & Design Projects (30%).
