Columbia University in the City of New York: School of Professional Studies Location 01 Open Date Oct 04, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade Lecturer $110,000 - $120,000; Senior Lecturer $120,000 - $170,000 Description The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Discipline to teach in the MS Program in Construction Administration. The degree prepares graduates for a variety of careers at the forefront of project leadership and management. We seek high-quality candidates with a graduate degree in business, management, finance, law, real estate, architecture, engineering or other areas related to construction management. Experience mentoring students on consulting projects, where students solve real-world challenges with industry partners, is a plus. The ability to form partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders to develop applied research and foster entrepreneurial ideas is also welcome. Qualifications The ideal candidate will:
Candidates at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline are expected to have teaching experience, documented evidence of pedagogical excellence, and evidence of professional growth and activity in the given field.
