Description Responsibilities: Data entry (enter claims) Customer service Documentation As a secondary insurance career, we'll always be paying a balance not covered by primary insurance. This person won't be adjusting claims. He/she will enter info on 10-15 claims per day. Those claims will then be routed to our licensed adjusters who will processes them. Main requirements: Must have medical claims experience (PIP doesn't count) Prior employers: medical insurance company claims department, billers (doctor's office), 3rd party administrators Need to be fluent with primary insurance EOBs and the related CPT coding and processing. Must be fluent with Health Insurance Claim Forms (HCFA or CMS-1500). Half of our claims received are on this form.
