Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Services Management:

    Provide guidance and support to students, addressing issues related to student life.
  • Advise and mentor students on personal and classroom matters, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Foster relationships with community organizations to enhance student support.
  • Develop and deliver seminars on essential study skills and strategies.
  • Coordinate retention and tutoring programs to enhance student success.
  • Contribute to new student orientation and graduation ceremonies.
  • Attend seminars and workshops to continuously improve retention strategies.
  • Act as a liaison with service organizations in the community.

2. Faculty Management and Development:

  • Supervise and counsel instructors/faculty members.
  • Assist in the recruitment and interviewing of instructors.
  • Provide training and mentorship opportunities for instructors.
  • Conduct teacher observations and evaluations, maintaining documentation.
  • Assist with performance reviews and counseling when necessary.
  • Monitor classes to ensure adherence to standards in instruction, equipment, and curriculum.
  • Facilitate in-service workshops for instructors.

3. Administrative Duties:

  • Assist in class scheduling, instructor schedules, and room usage.
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and academic records.
  • Coordinate classroom supplies and textbooks ordering.
  • Manage audio-visual aids, library materials, and teaching equipment.
  • Collaborate on equipment repair, maintenance, and building upkeep.
  • Support the processing of student forms.
  • Assist with proctoring entrance exams for prospective students.
  • Participate in director, advisory board, faculty, and academic staff meetings.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of management experience required
  • Academic proprietary management experience preferred
  • Instructor experience preferred
