The OptiCoat Business Manager (Director) will be responsible for developing and implementing (technical and) business strategies for increasing sales and profits in MCC's OptiCoat product line. The Business Manager (Director) will provide leadership through planning, directing, coordinating, and organizing all aspects of the OptiCoat pressure sensitive product line including new product (development and) introduction and growth initiatives, refining the value proposition with the sales team to reflect customer needs, driving cost reductions with the procurement team and working with the planning organization to support needed lead-times and inventory management. The Business Director will also be responsible for driving all product and process quality improvement initiatives including complaint root cause investigation and corrective action. Partner with MCC innovation and marketing teams:
Improve operational efficiency and demand planning
Improve our cost and supply position by supporting the MCC procurement team * Support vendor transition opportunities to improve margin and/ or supply assurance. * Prioritize & support plant and customers trials to accelerate adoption of lower cost alternative materials. * Champion ideas for cost savings that originate from the field.
