The Records Specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, processing and monitoring all Records Management Library accepted records for the Records Management Library (RML) & EEOICPA Programs Group.

Manage, maintain, process, and monitor all RML accepted records.
Administer and continually update records database of all records received and maintained and all follow-up related actions of each record.
Manage check-outs, retrieval, and refile records needed for reviews or reference.
Perform records search requests and extensive follow-on processes for Energy Employment Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) claims; Freedom of Information Act (FOIA); Privacy Act; Legal Action; Litigation claims and holds; Employment Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA); Stakeholder Research; and all other requests sent to RML.
Coordinate and administer clearance and classification processing of all records claims requests with the CSC Safeguards and Security Division via the Enterprise Secured Network (ESN) of all RML records requests.
Coordinate all records destruction and permanent transfer approvals with CSC owning organizations to meet DOE Records and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) schedule regulations.
Attend DOE Records Management Working Group meetings to stay current on changes and updates to the DOE records program.
Maintain NARA ARCIS IT Portal and NARA Electronic Records Archive (ERA) certification and approved use to retrieve and perform business with all Federal Records Centers where permanently moved historical CSC records are held.
Electronically scan personnel, medical, and historical records.
Coordinate RML site visits and administer security surveillance and accompaniment of clients during entire visit.
Manage preparation for future increase in RML workload that is expected to continue through the Period of Performance.
Continue to process all claims, retrievals, visits, etc. whenever an increase in RML workload occurs.

Ensure that new records are physically and digitally filed correctly, indexed, and boxed appropriately, with metadata incorporated into the RML database, and categorized effectively and efficiently.

Scan hard copy records to support the implementation of the digitized records system.
Comply with DOE Directives and regulations, and Office of Science Management Systems (SCMS) as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.

Education	High School diploma or equivalent General Education Development (GED) certificate.
Experience	Familiar with processes and procedures associated with the Records Management Library (RML) & EEOICPA Programs Group
License, Cert or Registration	Must have current/valid drivers' license. Must have proof of U.S. citizenship. Ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities	Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently. Must be proficient in the use of computers and software to perform work (e.g., Microsoft Office) and general office equipment. Practice high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, net appearance while on duty. Comply with dress code applicable to facility and location being supported as well ensure ID, badges and credentials are clearly visible while on duty.
