The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fiscal Analyst to join our Education Finance team. This role is essential in ensuring transparent, data-driven decision-making for Vermont's education finance system. The Analyst will work closely with school districts, legislative committees, state officials, and agency leadership to provide robust financial analysis, modeling, and policy recommendations. Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting, but some travel will require private means of transportation. Duties may require some time outside of normal work hours. Incumbent will be expected to testify before the Legislature and/or assist the Education Finance Director and department/agency heads in doing so. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, statistics, or related field AND three (3) or more years of experience in finance, fiscal analysis, fiscal modeling, and budgeting, or related field. Preferred Qualifications
