About the role

Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a global leader. As the Factory Controller for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fueling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. With your expertise, we can streamline our supply and procurement process, yielding high-impact results that resonate across our global market. Your responsibilities

  • Team Focus:Costs and variances, efficiencies, inventory levels, project follow-up.
  • Monthly Reporting:Oversee monthly close, ensure accurate account balances, complete supply reporting, analyze variances, track wastage, manage fixed costs, and analyze PPVs with procurement.
  • Planning/Forecasting:Calculate and disseminate product costs, analyze variances, ensure correct brand assignment, prepare reporting schedules.
  • Balance Sheet Reviews:Review fixed assets, stock, accruals, and prepayments to ensure control and policy adherence.
  • Fixed Assets:Provide financial input for Capex, maintain accurate register, review asset lives and write-offs.
  • Capital Expenditure:Evaluate and manage Capex process, review spend vs. budget, provide quarterly forecasts, and ensure payback objectives are met.
  • Cost/Transfer Price:Prepare costs for NPDs, document assumptions, manage price changes, control commitments, update ABC model, compare actual costs with standards.
  • Inventory:Control raw materials, WIP, finished goods, coordinate stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Squeeze and X-trim Reporting:Calculate proposed savings, follow up on actual costs, reconcile planned and actual savings.

The experience we're looking for

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
  • MBA a plus. CPA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of finance / accounting experience - including 2-3 years within plant environment preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis demonstrated in previous positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong IT skills, covering SAP based accounting systems and Excel

US salary ranges

USD $110,000.00 - $166,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
