HR Intern Worthington Enterprises is hiring an Intern to join our Human Resources team this summer. Position Overview: As an HR Intern, you will support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of various learning initiatives. You will gain exposure to large aspects of the Learning & Development process and contribute to a variety of projects that enhance employee performance, engagement, and development as well as have experience learning various areas of HR. Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Summer Intern Program: Helping our Intern Program Manager plan learning, social and volunteer events. Documenting the work and activities of the group for Facebook, LinkedIn and articles. Capturing quotes and testimonials from summer program participants.
- Event Coordination: Manage logistics (decorations, accommodations, food/beverage, printed materials) for Intern Program sessions, Learning & Development events, and large-scale employee conferences.
- Learning Design & Content Creation: Help develop and update training materials, presentations, and resources for employees.
- Research: Conduct research on L&D best practices, industry trends, and new learning technologies. We welcome new ideas and want our intern to research and present opportunities to better represent the company image to various target audiences.
- HUB: Learning our LMS systems to collect and analyze data from training programs to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Administrative Assistance: Help with scheduling, logistics, and communication related to training sessions, including managing registrations and feedback surveys.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with L&D and HR teams to ensure the smooth execution of learning and development initiatives.
- HR Service Center: Shadow and assist the HR Service Center.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Ability to work from March to mid-August
- Previous design or marketing knowledge, experience preferred
- Experience with communications or event planning
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to clearly, professionally and effectively work with cross-functional partners
- Creative mindset and ability to visually map out content
