Position Summary
Teach in the Department of Physical Therapy's Program.

Duties & Responsibilities
Teach HLP 535, PT 605 Systems Plasticity, HLP 536, and CEP 601. PT 605 Systems Plasticity HLP 536 and CEP 601. This is a leadership role in the Department PT member of the Committee on Student Promotion and Professionalism (CSPP)
Develop and carry out a scholarly agenda.
Service activities within the Dept/College/University as assigned.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate in exercise science, kinesiology, community health, or a field related to physical therapy.
APTA specialty certificate in cardiovascular and pulmonary PT.
Experience working with BIPOC and other underrepresented populations to build connections and partnerships across stakeholder groups (community, students, faculty).
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Kinesiology and Rehab
Physical Therapy License in the State of IL

Preferred Qualifications
A strong teaching background that includes creative online pedagogy. Demonstrated social justice advocacy and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly in the health sciences. Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating programs/workshops. Ability to lead, design, and facilitate community-engaged research wellness initiatives.
