Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Project Lead/Functional Analyst with strong functional experience with Workday HR for a 6 month contract for a digital banking client in Downtown Atlanta. Open to remote - must be able to travel for meetings when needed

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis and execution of a transformative modernization program focused on rebuilding core systems and processes across the company. This critical role will be instrumental in developing strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success, with a primary focus on supporting the Sales, Delivery, Customer Care and Finance functions. The Senior Business Analyst will be a key leader in driving our transition to a more efficient, future-ready infrastructure, aligning the objectives of cross-functional teams, and maximizing return on investment (ROI) through optimized sequencing and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Demonstrate strong business judgment and leadership in navigating complex decisions, fostering collaboration across multiple teams, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
    • Influence key stakeholders, from executive leadership to operational teams, driving consensus and buy-in for program initiatives.


  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute business strategies aimed at driving growth, profitability, and competitive advantage, particularly in relation to the modernization of internal systems supporting Sales.
    • Lead strategic analysis for the overall modernization program, including the replacement of core systems and data (Jira, Smartsheet, Workday, Salesforce, Zuora, and other dependent processes and systems).
    • Define and execute a sequencing strategy that maximizes ROI, operational efficiency, and transformative change across the company's core infrastructure.


  • Program Analysis & Recommendations:

    • Lead the analysis of multiple potential value propositions, identifying optimal approaches for sequencing and implementation of key program initiatives.
    • Provide actionable recommendations for strategic shifts to the overall program scope, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Customer Care, Product, IT, and Finance to ensure recommendations and strategies align with business priorities and operational requirements.


  • Business Requirements & Execution:

    • Manage and prioritize the delivery of business intent, working to build comprehensive business requirements that align with the product strategy.
    • Oversee the execution of business requirements against established program goals, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects.
    • Take ownership of multiple projects and programs concurrently, driving each through its lifecycle from ideation to successful execution.


  • Quantitative & Analytical Orientation:

    • Apply strong quantitative analysis and conceptual thinking to business decision-making, with a focus on problem-solving and strategy development.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to assess risks, opportunities, and program performance, making recommendations based on analytics.


  • Executive Communication:

    • Leverage exceptional written and oral communication skills to communicate strategic insights, program status, and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams.
    • Lead strategic discussions, influencing decisions and negotiating trade-offs to ensure alignment with business goals.


  • Results-Oriented Execution:

    • Maintain a clear focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals, driving progress and overcoming challenges in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrate a results-oriented mindset, constantly measuring the effectiveness of strategies and iterating to achieve the desired outcomes.




Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or management consulting, with a strong track record in leading complex modernization programs.
    • Experience working with Salesforce, Zuora, and related enterprise systems, with deep knowledge of their underlying business processes.
    • Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and devise data-driven solutions that drive operational efficiencies and strategic success.
    • Previous consulting experience is highly desirable.


  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong quantitative orientation, able to make sound decisions based on analytics.
    • Excellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across teams and levels.
    • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, working closely with stakeholders from diverse departments (Sales, IT, Finance, Product, etc.).
    • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing multiple programs and projects concurrently.
