You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, including systems architecture and design, requirements analysis and management, interface definition and management, verification and validation, and trade study design and execution

  • Experience leading the development of technical strategies, technology roadmaps, and technical team skill development plans involving at least two projects exceeding $5M each

  • Experience developing systems engineering plans, developing mitigation plans, and identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks

  • Experience providing systems engineering support to the development, operations, or sustainment of DoD programs

  • Experience conducting or supporting System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs)

  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2, and requirements management processes and tools, including DOORs or JAMA

  • Knowledge of defining the architecture approach and vision for complex systems that integrate work products across functions and product teams

  • Ability to lead tasks in formal and informal group settings and write and maintain technical documents, including test plans, test reports, data analysis, and management plans

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with digital engineering environments, including IBM DOORS NextGen, Dassault MagicDraw family of products, Windchill or TeamCenter, Syndeia, and Atlassian Jira or similar

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

  • Knowledge of DoD Multi-Service Operational Test and Software Test and Evaluation (T&E)

  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 acquisition lifecycle and systems engineering requirements

  • Knowledge of the Agile development methodology, associated toolsets, and roles

  • Ability to lead, coach, and direct activities to achieve a trusted technical solution

  • Ability to effectively communicate with subject matter experts and end users to assist in the development of hardware and software solutions

  • Doctorate degree

  • Systems Engineering or Architecture Accreditation Certification, including INCOSE SEP Certification or Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
