About the Position:

Juniper is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to drive product strategy, roadmap planning and product execution with an emphasis on the Service Provider--Telco markets. This individual will be part of Juniper's Automated WAN Solutions Product Management organization and be a strategic partner to Juniper's corporate strategy team, go-to-market teams and R&D engineering teams to define, advocate for and drive the evolution of the product portfolio and target customer adoption.

This individual will be a key contributor for Metro Network solutions serving Telecommunications Service Provider, Enterprise and Cloud customer segments. Key responsibilities include product strategy development and alignment, product definition, management and program execution, solutions development and road mapping, sales team and key partner and customer engagement. This role will be an individual contributor that requires leadership and partnership across cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, operations, finance, sales and systems engineering to execute against Juniper's growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

The candidate must be execution oriented, have a builder mentality, strong business, strategic and technical acumen, and possess the personal drive to build a growth business within an established organization. The candidate must couple those skills with strong relationship building and communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence internal stakeholders as well as external customer and partner audiences. The ideal candidate will have both a technical and business background, have demonstrated experience in complex infrastructure, hardware, software, and service environments, as well as familiarity with the global telecommunications and cloud infrastructure market landscape and industry structure. Essential responsibilities include:



  • Drive Cloud Metro platforms strategy, product definition and program execution
  • Drive Product roadmap and strategy for 4G/5G, Cable DAA aggregation, broadband and business services use case.
  • Work with our customers, sales teams and systems engineering teams to translate market requirements into engineering product requirements
  • Work closely with the various sales teams to manage requirements and drive commitments within engineering organizations
  • Perform market and competitive assessment
  • Generate sales and product collaterals
  • Work in close partnership with sales and marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and plans to bring solutions to market
  • Build and expand relationships with service provider and cloud customers


Minimum Qualifications:

This role requires the skills to build and drive a disruptive metro product strategy into new franchise customers, the competency to drive a world-class product and solution roadmap, and the mentality and endurance to drive acceleration in revenue and market share in a competitive marketspace. This person thinks strategically, crosses business and technical domains fluidly, distills complex concepts to practical reality, makes data-driven decisions, and then tactically drives execution to achieve target metrics and goals. Qualifications include:



  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or Related Engineering field.
  • 1 year of experience in product management.
  • Familiarity with Metro Networks technology & market.
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance market needs with business strategies and priorities, manage trade-offs and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
  • Strong customer orientation, used to develop and validate product and solution requirements and build business plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding technical and business presentation skills for audiences that includes executives, partners, analysts, and customers.

Minimum Salary: $102,400.48

Maximum Salary:$147,198.90

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $102,400.48 and $147,198.90/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
